Industry sectors serviced

COMMERCIAL

Commercial Buildings

We work with businesses running while doing essential upgrades — cladding remediation, fire door upgrades, lift shaft renovations and other essential works required in offices, hotels, universities and commercial buildings of every kind.

HERITAGE

Listed Buildings

A specialist service for the unique needs of heritage buildings. Listed buildings require careful planning, design work, architect involvement and specialist manufacturers and installers — we connect you with the right specialists.

Life after a fire report

Here to support UK businesses & charities — bridging the gap between accredited professionals and the people who need them.
01

Depth of reports

Reports are thorough. Seeing a multi-page action plan covering everything from structural upgrades to minor compliance issues can feel daunting.

02

The weight of responsibility

The Responsible Person carries a real personal and legal duty of care. A list of hazards brings that responsibility into sharp focus.

03

Budgetary problems

Budgets are already stretched. Diverting thousands of pounds to fund alarm upgrades or intumescent seals is a painful pill to swallow.

04

Logistical issues

Scheduling disruptive works — drilling, replacing doors, rewiring — around a live, bustling building is genuinely challenging.

05

Starting with research

Hundreds of providers operate across the UK, each with different capabilities, insurance levels and track records by sector.

06

Over-reliance on suppliers

Cost transparency and availability vary widely, often pushing decisions toward "who is available" under pressure.

Bringing public sector insight to private businesses

Firebroker is the UK's first procurement service broker built for the private sector.
PUBLIC PROCUREMENT FRAMEWORKS

A pre-qualification system

A procurement framework is used by public organisations to maintain a curated list of suppliers who have been thoroughly vetted and approved for specific categories of work.

NO FRAMEWORK FOR PRIVATE SECTOR

The gap we close

Private businesses, commercial buildings and charities face similar legal fire safety obligations as public bodies — but have never had access to procurement systems that make compliance safe and efficient. We built the adaptive framework that fills that gap, matching thousands of approved service providers to client needs.

Frequently asked questions

How does the commission structure work?

Firebroker operates on a fixed-fee membership model. We do not take any commission from your quotes or contracts, so you keep 100% of your earnings.

What accreditations are required to join?

We only partner with professionals who hold recognised UK fire safety accreditations, such as IFE, IFSM or BAFE. All members undergo a rigorous vetting process.

What types of projects can I expect?

Our network spans commercial, heritage and residential fire safety requirements — from universities and hospitals to schools, offices and listed buildings across the UK.

Does Firebroker carry out the works itself?

No. Firebroker is a procurement intermediary and introducer service. We are not a certified fire safety organisation and do not carry out works, provide fire risk assessments, or offer fire safety advice. Our role ends at contractor appointment.
